After Midnight: Late Night Bites in Austin

This upscale bistro offers a quiet, luxurious atmosphere; Zoot serves an eclectic menu showcasing French flavors and techniques, with its tasting menu a perennial favorite. Standouts include the sautéed shrimp with cheddar grits and the grilled prime sirloin, served with a side of potato puree and marinated peppers.

Another project from the owners of Zoot, Wink focuses on seafood and poultry, and does them well. The five-course tasting menu features dayboat scallops and a crisp duck breast with red fingerlings as well as a signature seared lamb dish.
