Remaining at Home Can Become the Ultimate Night Out

It doesn’t matter what sort of couple you’re part of–whether it is a long term marriage, you have three kids or no kids, boyfriend and girlfriend or a gay relationship–that you are~you are probably} both too busy to just commit sufficient time for each other.  Most of us have more tasks to do than we have available time.  You may well wonder whether the world has always been this way or whether it is only in these times.

Unfortunately, one of the first things to get postponed “until there is enough time” is quality time with our significant others.  We think we’ll suddenly find more time once this big deadline at work is completed.  Or we hope that we won’t be as busy once little Jimmy’s soccer season is finally done.  We then find ourselves pondering whether our relationship has grown stale.  Maybe, we think, this happens to all couples after they have been paired for some period of time.Perhaps it does, but even that is no excuse.  No person, no project at the office, no “honey do” list at your home should become more important than your partner–at least not every time that a priority must be established.

Here are a few tips for a perfect, non-traditional, intimate evening at your own home.

Choose a night to send the children and pets off to Grandma’s (or a neighbor’s house)
Disconnect the television
Choose some CDs that you both enjoy
Throw away (or hide) all telephones, computers and any other contraptions that disrupt your life every day
Send for a chef prepared, gourmet meal from an Internet boutique–one that needs virtually no effort on your part but stills tastes as if it’s from a four star restaurant
Buy a bottle of fine wine oran invigorating mixture of fresh fruit juices
Park the cars in the closed garage
Close all curtains
Switch off the lights
Pretend you’re not home
Light some drip less candles
Eat at a very slow pace
Take plenty of time to talk about each other
Listen attentively
Finish the meal with a slice of creamy New York cheesecake and a glass of a complimentary dessert wine or cup of coffee
Worry about the diet some other day
Don’t do the dishes, at least not until morning
Blow out some of the candles
Go to a fantasy room other than your bedroom
Try to think of something that relaxes you–in some stimulating manner
Oh, yeah.  Talk some more

Go through the whole process after a month.  You will find {that you are still too busy to suit you}, but you won’t mind as much if you follow these easy directions.

Men Can Host a Romantic Dinner, lToo

It is a challenge to prepare a romantic night in for your girl or boy friend. You need to take responsibility for making sure that the night goes seamlessly, so that she’ll know how much she means to you. No matter whether it’s Valentines Day, her birthday, or your anniversary, preparing a romantic dinner for your loved one is an intimate and great way to tell her that you love her. To make sure that your romantic meal is a hit and not a miss, follow these easy and important tips.

It is very important to assure that your home is straightened and clean before your girlfriend arrives. Remember, there are not many turn-offs as instant as messiness. So make sure you hide your socks someplace out of sight! Once your place is clean, you’ll have to prepare it for your romantic evening. Setting the dinner table correctly is a necessary prerequisite to creating a romantic atmosphere. One of the best ways to set the table is with candles and flowers. Yes, the candle lit dinner is standard, but that is because it always works. Lay a table cloth on the table and then add some tall candles and a vase of her favorite flowers. If you don’t know which flowers she prefers, keep in mind that red roses rarely fail to delight.

It’s time to think about what to serve for the dinner itself.  Don’t worry about making her favorite food if it’s not within your expertise.  Cook her a dish that you know how to make well, and she will be happy that you catered to her.  And just as significant as the meal, is the beverage you serve with it.  Perhaps one of the most romantic drinks out there is champagne.  Or you might select a good wine that enhances the meal that you’ve prepared.  If you don’t know where to begin when it comes to choosing the right wine or champagne, ask for help at the store.  Usually they have a good idea of which drinks are most appropriate for a particular occasion or meal.

And don’t forget the capping moment of your romantic dinner: the dessert. Ending the meal with a delicious dessert will ensure that the dinner will be memorable. Because dessert is such an important aspect to a successful romantic dinner, consider serving a delicious cheesecake. Cheesecake is both a romantic and elegant choice. Cheesecakes are available in a variety of flavors, so you can be sure to find one that she’ll like. And with so many online vendors of gourmet cheesecakes, finding and purchasing an elegant dessert is as easy as a click of the mouse. I love a gourmet turtle cheesecake, with its variety of flavors and aromas.

No matter the event, follows these easy steps for a flawless night. I promise you she’ll remember the attention to detail for a long time. Show your gratitude to me by sending me a New York cheesecake.
