Ingredients:

• 1/2 gallon milk or soy milk
• 1 pound vanilla flavored CandiQuik
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• Green food coloring
• Whipped cream
• Sprinkles or nonpareils

Instructions:

1. Heat milk on the stovetop on medium heat for five minutes.
2. Chop the CandiQuik into small pieces and place into a heat resistant bowl.
3. Pour the heated milk over the CandiQuik chunks and stir until candy is melted.
4. Stir in the vanilla and peppermint extracts.
5. Add 8 drops of green food coloring to make green.
6. Pour drink mixture into glasses, top with whipped cream and nonpareils or sprinkles and serve!

Orange Hallo-Cream

Ingredients:

• 1/2 gallon milk or soy milk
• 1 pound vanilla flavored CandiQuik
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon orange extract
• Red and yellow food coloring
• Whipped cream
• Sprinkles or nonpareils

Instructions:

1. Heat milk on the stovetop on medium heat for five minutes.
2. Chop the CandiQuik candy into small pieces and place into a heat resistant bowl.
3. Pour the heated milk over the CandiQuik chunks and stir until candy is melted.
4. Stir in vanilla and orange extract.
5. Add 3 drops of red food coloring and 12 drops of yellow food coloring to make orange.
6. Pour drink mixture into glasses, top with whipped cream and nonpareils or sprinkles and serve!

This year has seen the most ever complaints in vacation food, one reason is because a lot of people have been cutting back due to the credit crisis, so they have either been visiting cheaper hotels or just going for an all inclusive deal. But what is it about all inclusive solid food that the public do not like? Let us have a quick look.

The majority of the complaints come from people that have opted to go away for two weeks, the reason these people complain is because they believe they are getting the same food day in day out. But I believe what these people do not really understand is that this has to be done, simply so the hotel can earn a bit of revenue. They have to order in bulk amounts so that they get offered savings, but you are still getting a great deal yourself.

Cold Food

Most all inclusive hotels do a buffet, a lot of people tend to come down late to the buffet and then complain that the food is cold. Once more the hotel is not going to continue on cooking food if its not getting eaten because they will lose money.

Foreign Food
